Ron Weasley's second wand was purchased in 1993 from Garrick Ollivander and was created any time before that. It was purchased on the extra's of the Weasley's winnings, which was also spent on a trip to Egypt to visit Charlie.
Description
The wand appears to be rough and rock-like, although it sometimes is shiny.
History
Use at Hogwarts
Ron Weasley's wand was used at Hogwarts quite often, especially during the Battle of the Room of Requirement while defending Hermione. Although there are no other major uses that are worth highlighting, it was used constantly during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries and the Battle of Hogwarts.
